What kind of information does the Clean Energy Council collect?

The main information that we collect is your name, company, email address, phone number and postcode. We collect your postcode in order to enable us to provide you with targeted communications that are relevant to your local area - such as events.

In some cases, where needed for a particular activity, we will also collect mobile phone and other contact details.

In any communications from us you will always be given an opportunity to stop receiving communications, or to change your details by using the link at the bottom of each email, or by contacting us at: [email protected]

What does the Clean Energy Council do with the information?

The Clean Energy Council will not provide your personal information to any other organisation except where necessary, or as required by law. We won't provide your personal details or provide mailing lists to outside organisations.

When you send an email through our website, such as to a newspaper or member of Parliament, the email will include your email address and full name. When you sign a petition, we will publish your name, city/suburb and state, but not your email or physical address.

What happens when the Clean Energy Council campaign ends?

When our campaign has finished, all of the personal data collected through it will be used to keep you updated on the Clean Energy Council's ongoing work.
