From 18 August 2018 to 30 June 2019, the Victorian Government is offering a solar panel rebate for up to 24,000 eligible households to install solar. Eligibility for the program includes using a Clean Energy Council Accredited Installer and Clean Energy Council Approved Products so we have prepared the following information to help guide you through these requirements.

How do I find the right person to install my solar for the Victorian Solar Homes Package?

To ensure you are using a Clean Energy Council accredited installer and Clean Energy Council approved products, the best approach is to find an accredited installer and they will be able to ensure that eligible products are used for your installation.

To ensure you are using a Clean Energy Council accredited installer you have two main options.

1. Find a Clean Energy Council accredited installer

If you want to deal directly with an individual installer you can search for a Clean Energy Council accredited installer in your area using our Find an installer map.

This can be a great option if you want to use a local individual from your area. You can check with the installer to ensure they use Clean Energy Council approved products for the installation.

2. Use a Clean Energy Council Approved Solar Retailer

If you want to go through a solar retailer you can find a Clean Energy Council Approved Solar Retailer that services your area by searching our list of Approved Solar Retailers.

All Clean Energy Council Approved Solar Retailers must use a Clean Energy Council accredited installer for the installation of your system. You can check with the Approved Solar Retailer or installer to ensure they use Clean Energy Council approved products for the installation.
